Senior Honors Project
Currently working on a Senior Honors project entitled Notes from Undergrad: The Complete Series which is a 5-7min comedy show following a group of college freshmen. The project consists of 5 episodes, all written, filmed and edited by me. The show is formatted for the internet and will be uploaded to YouTube in the spring of 2007.

Experience
Initiated, promoted and implemented the screening of Afro-Punk in conjunction with a visit from Director James Spooner at Denison University in February 2006. This involved contacting and corresponding with the director and his film company, meeting with various campus organizations to find a sponsor, organizing logistical details for the screening, and promoting the event through posters, flyers, and radio spots.

2006- present: DJ for 91.1FM WDUB – the Denison University college radio station

2006 - Present Denison University MIX Lab
MIX Lab Fellow
Duties include maintenance and upkeep of Denison University’s Mulberry Inter-media experimental lab, assisting students with programs/projects, troubleshooting software, and keeping all equipment/computers/printers in running order.

June 2006 – August 2006 Headlands Center for the Arts, Sausalito CA
Intern
Duties included processing and filing of artist applications, assisting artists with projects, transporting visitors to/from the airport, and making drop offs/pick ups at galleries in San Francisco. Also asked to do a variety of office duties such as photocopying and sorting mail, as well as light housekeeping duties.

2003 - Present Denison University Theater Department
Shop Technician
Duties include the creation and construction of sets, light design, props, and scenery for theatrical productions, as well as maintenance of the shop, the machinery, and light equipment.

2004 – Present Denison University Art Department
Print Room Assistant

§ Duties include assisting students with printing techniques and equipment such as printing presses and acidic etching baths, as well as maintenance and upkeep of equipment and the studio. Also perform office duties such as photocopying, printing, and other errands as requested by the professor.

June 2005 – August 2005 Denison University Art Department
Summer Scholar Research Student
Was awarded a research position for the summer to create an artist’s book entitled Scar Stories. The research and creation of the book was self-directed, and involved library research of artists, learning the process of bookmaking, finding, interviewing, and photographing various subjects, manipulating photographs digitally through Adobe Photoshop, as well as the creation of interactive media and iMovie films which were included in the final draft of the book.

Interests and activities

Had artwork shown in the Denison University 2005 Summer Scholar gallery show “These things I hold dearly”. Artwork included an artist’s book entitled Scar Stories, a photography portfolio book entitled Exquisite Flaws, and two iMovie films featuring digitally created artwork.

Was a featured artist for the month of November 2005 for the Weston Arts Council. Etchings were on display in the Sky Bank in Weston, Ohio.

Operated the light board for the Denison University Summer Scholar production of “Hansel and Gretel” in 2005.
